MARLBORO, NJ — A Marlboro Police Captain has retired after 28 years of service to the local community.
Toward the end of June, Chief Peter Pezzullo and the Marlboro Township Police Department celebrated Captain Joe Tomazic and congratulated him on his retirement.
Throughout his career, police said Tomazic exemplified "professionalism, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to public service."
His dedication to protecting and serving residents, mentoring fellow officers, and fostering strong relationships throughout the community has left a lasting impact on both the department and the township, officials said.
"Please join us in thanking Captain Joe Tomazic for his many years of service and wishing him a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement," the police department said in an online post.
"Congratulations, Captain Tomazic, and thank you for your unwavering dedication to the Marlboro Township community."
