COLTS NECK, NJ — Residents should be aware of Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations planned at Naval Weapons Station Earle on Monday.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., authorities said the base will be conducting EOD operations.
During this time, residents in surrounding areas may hear loud noises. These sounds are part of planned controlled activities and there is no cause for alarm, authorities said.
"We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we carry out this important safety operation," the base said in an online post. "For any concerns, please contact local authorities."
Naval Weapons Station Earle is located at 201 NJ-34, Colts Neck.
