COLTS NECK, NJ — Just a few days after Delicious Orchards announced its mysterious three-day closure, rumors of a Netflix movie filming there have begun to pop up.
These rumors started after Joseph McGinty Nichol, a film director and producer, posted a photo of himself inside Delicious Orchards, with the caption "When the fit matches the set" on Tuesday.
The next day, actor Kevin Hart followed up Nichol's post with one of his own, where he appears to be near the market's outdoor pickup window, NJ.com reported.
According to Nichol's IMDB page, the director is currently working on an untitled Henry Cavill and Kevin Hart spy comedy with Netflix.
The film, which is currently in pre-production, is described as following rival spies who cross paths in a Lamaze class when their wives become friends.
This forces them to "reluctantly become partners as their double lives collide in hilarious and dangerous ways."
In addition to Cavill and Hart, the film's IMDB page also lists Jason Isaacs, Justine Lupe and Aja Naomi King as stars.
Rumors of a Netflix movie filming at Delicious Orchards come after the market announced a mysterious three-day closure earlier in the week.
In a video posted to the Delicious Orchards Facebook page, Vice President Michael McDonald announced that the market would be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, before reopening on Friday.
While McDonald did not give a specific reason for the market closing, he assured customers that "it's not a bad thing."
"I promise you, this is a good thing," he said. "We'll be able to talk about it a little bit more after the week is done."
