Virtual Forum Set For Marlboro School Board Candidates: See Details

MARLBORO, NJ — The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Monmouth County will be hosting a virtual forum for Marlboro school board candidates in September.

Set to take place on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m., the forum will be held for all candidates running for the Marlboro Township Board of Education.

The program will be held via a Zoom Webinar platform that accommodates a live audience of 500.

Registration is required. You can register in advance here.

If you have a question for the candidates, you can submit it while registering for the forum. To be considered, questions must be submitted at least seven days in advance of the forum.

The candidates on the ballot (as listed by the Monmouth County Clerk) are as follows:

Full Term

• Kostantinos Skordalos
• Valentina Mendez (Accountability Commitment Education)
• Tara Barry (Accountability Commitment Education)
• Anthony Di Capua (Accountability Commitment Education)
• Samantha Schnurr
• Amy N. Bolowitz (Advancing Marlboro's Youth)

Unexpired Two-Year Term

• Chris Smith (Community Character Commitment)
• Cheryl Scuorzo (Accountability Commitment Education)

All candidates have been invited to participate in the forum, but may not all appear, officials said.

A trained League moderator from outside the voting area will preside over the forum.
