What drove you to seek public office?
As a mother of five and a Colts Neck resident for over 24 years, I have seen firsthand how education and educational tools have changed.
I decided to run for Colts Neck Board of Education because I believe our children deserve a safe learning environment, age-appropriate education, and a strong foundation in core academic subjects that will prepare them for future success.
My priorities are to keep parental rights on the forefront, protect our children, strengthen academic fundamentals and ensure fiscal responsibility.
I believe parents and educators must work together to provide our children with the education and opportunities they deserve.
What sets you apart from the other candidates?
Raising five children has given me first-hand experience with the challenges families face and the importance of a strong, high-quality education. As a Clinical Director, I have developed strong skills in leadership, budget management, conflict solutions, and holding people accountable.
What sets me apart from other candidates is my unique combination of experience as a mother, healthcare professional, and proven leader.
I am committed to delivering the highest quality of care while upholding the gold standard of clinical excellence. I take pride in leading by example, advocating for others and ensuring that the highest standards are consistently met.
I believe these same principles of leadership, accountability, and excellence are essential when serving on the Board of Education.
What are past accomplishments or experiences that make you qualified for this position?
My experience as a mother of five, a working professional, and a lifelong learner has prepared and qualified me to be a potential member of the Colts Neck Board of Education.
Raising my family while returning to school later in life and earning my master's degree with a 4.0 GPA demonstrates my determination, discipline, and commitment to achieving goals.
I understand the importance of a strong family foundation, parental involvement, and quality education in shaping success. My journey has also inspired me to advocate for women and encourage individuals to pursue educational and career opportunities at every stage of life, recognizing that it is never too late to pursue personal and professional growth.
I will bring real-life perseverance, accountability, and strong beliefs in the value of education to the Colts Neck Board of Education.
If elected, what will be your top priorities in your new role?
I strongly believe parents are their children's first and most important advocates. My top goal if elected will be to protect and advocate for parental rights, promote transparency, and foster open communication between families and schools.
I am committed to ensuring parents are informed, included, and respected in decisions affecting their children's education and well-being. A partnership between parents and schools is essential to student success.
Name one thing about Colts Neck that always makes you smile.
Seeing the children of Colts Neck playing, laughing, and enjoying the simple joys of childhood always brings a smile to my face.
These moments remind me of why our community is so special. Colts Neck is rooted in strong family values, integrity, and a deep sense of community.
Our children are the heart of Colts Neck, and their happiness, innocence, and bright futures are what make this community so meaningful to me.
