Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza To Open In Marlboro

Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza will open in Marlboro on Monday.

The restaurant uses “authentic coal-burning ovens to create well done pizza,” according to a news release from the company.

The new restaurant will open at 98 Route 9, at the corner of Newman Springs Road, in the Marlboro Plaza.

It is the company’s seventh New Jersey location.

The restaurant was founded by Anthony Bruno. NFL Hall of Fame legend Dan Marino is one of several equity partners, the news release said.

The restaurant will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Dine in, carry out and a full bar will be available.
