On Sunday night, Billy J. Brown opened up the Freehold Borough Arts Councils Sunday Night Jazz and Blues Series with Mike Hogan on guitar and Thino Cacciolo on percussion.
It was a successful night as many people came out to enjoy the free show. Seating provided by www.downtownfreehold.com was filled and many jazz and blues fans took the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor seating at local restaurants. Visitors could be seen dancing, clapping and singing along as Billy demonstrated what a good entertainer he is.
This was the first of eight Sunday night shows, all of which start at 7pm. Our next show will be next Sunday July, 20. Gary Cavico and Stone Blue will play some great blues music.
We we will take a break on Sunday July 27. There will be no show that night. The FBAC will be attending Veterans Appreciation Day at the Freehold VFW which will be from 2-9pm.
Be sure to follow the Freehold Borough Arts Council on Facebook and visit our web site at www.freeholdborougharts.org
Besides FBAC events, both of those sites feature events and announcements from local artists and arts groups.
