Bensi, an Italian Tradition Touches the Taste Buds

Fresh and flavorful, Bensi Restaurant is up to par when it comes to home cooked Italian. All the freshest ingredients, recipes and drinks to tantalize the taste buds. Simple and classic dishes with an extra spark of flair light up any person's lunch or dinner.

Bensi has locations around NJ, the location I am speaking of located in Old Bridge at the Shoppes on Route 9. A great location for traffic and foodies coming off a long day or night.

Classic dishes like Caesar salad fresh with grilled chicken, homemade dressing playing true to all the hype. A classic Bensi Favorite the "Zazone" is the perfect calzone + pizza roll you will ever have!! Zazones are filled with 2 to 3 ingredients freshly cooked and baked. A simple taste turned up, grilled chicken, fresh tomatoes and fresh mozzarella with ricotta as the filling. Something so simple but simply delicious. Even their side sauce was classic Marinara unlike many other Italian restaurants who seem to forget that "sauce" is the staple behind every restaurant. A dipping sauce adds full flavor and attention to each bite taken.

A large drink selection, a small bar and even carry out section to bring the Bensi taste home to your family. It all started with a tradition and a dream, they have done well and continue to surprise me with their wine selections and specials.
