MARLBORO, N.J., May 31, 2014 – Centercourt Athletic Club of Marlboro is offering tennis and multi-sport camps for children ages 3 and up this summer, with individualized attention, kid-sized equipment, and a wide range of sports and activities.

The camps, which run from June 16 to August 29, are designed to introduce young children to summer camp in an environment where they can both make friends and enjoy sports without feeling overwhelmed.

“Going to camp for the first time can be a source of both excitement and anxiety for young children,” said Yevgeny Supeko, General Manager of the Club. “We limit our enrollment to ensure that children get the attention they need and receive the best possible camp experience.”

That experience includes traditional activities like relay races and arts and crafts, as well as team sports such as soccer, kickball, and 10 and Under Tennis. All of the sports use smaller nets, shorter fields, and skill-based exercises so kids can learn and enjoy as soon as they start to play. In addition, the camps will feature inflatable play areas and water slides outside for the first time, so kids can cool off.

The camps are offered in full and half-day, as well as week and multi-week, sessions. Parents are welcome to visit their kids or watch them play on the club’s indoor turf field from the second-floor viewing area.

The multi-sport and tennis camps, though, are not the only programs being offered this summer at Centercourt. The club is holding a high school tennis camp for tournament-level players and offering discounted tennis classes for both juniors and adults. In addition, the club is offering discounted court time for only $20 an hour.

To register your child for camp or take advantage of any of the Club’s summer programs, e-mail marlboro@centercourtclub.com or call 732-965-1065.
