COLTS NECK, NJ — A Colts Neck man was involved in the multi-car collision on Route 9, which killed a Lakewood resident and injured three others, according to Lakewood police.

Oliver Vasquez, 36, of Lakewood died of injuries he suffered in the crash that happened shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday, Lakewood Capt. Gregory Staffordsmith said.

Staffordsmith said Zamorano and Morales were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, for treatment, and Calvo and Vasquez were taken to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, where Vasquez was pronounced dead shortly after 9:30 p.m.
