Colts Neck/Marlboro Get State Grants For Local Road Repairs

COLTS NECK, NJ — Colts Neck and Marlboro are some of the hundreds of towns across the state that received more than $12 million in state aid grants from the Department of Transportation, money that will be used to repair various local roads.

Colts Neck Township was given $330,000 for milling and repaving of Heulitt Road. Marlboro was given $215,000 for Wyncrest Road repairs.

The roadwork will not start until 2020, or even 2021.

In Manalapan, $270,000 was given to make various improvements to Gordons Corner Road.

Hazlet Township was given $270,000 for Beers Street repaving.

Holmdel was given $180,000 for continued maintenance to Crawfords Corner Road.

Middletown will be given $215,000 to make Holland Road improvements.

Matawan received $200,000 for Overbrook Lane improvements

Aberdeen Twp. was also given $270,000 to continue the road upgrades being done to Cliffwood Avenue.
