The Community YMCA to Honor Board Member at May 16 Golf Benefit

Marlboro Resident Daniel Matarese will Receive Chris Mosley Volunteer Achievement Award

Shrewsbury, NJ (March 31, 2016) –The Community YMCA Board member Daniel Matarese will be acknowledged for his support of the organization’s summer camp programs at the Summer Camp Golf Tournament & Awards Dinner on Monday, May 16, at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in Farmingdale.

The Marlboro resident will be presented the second Annual Chris Mosley Volunteer Achievement Award at the dinner following the golf tournament.

Matarese served as chairman of the Y’s Camp Board of Managers for three years and has been a dedicated advocate for Y summer camp programs for several years. The owner of Danco General Contracting, he currently serves on The Community YMCA’s Board of Directors and Property and Finance Committee.

Support for the golf tournament and awards dinner, will help the Y ensure that children in need have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive at Y summer day camps.

Registration for the golf tournament will begin at 10:30 a.m., at which time the driving range will be open and lunch will be served. The shotgun start is at noon followed by a cocktail reception at 5 p.m. and the dinner and awards presentation at 6 p.m. The tournament is sponsored by Morgan Stanley.
