Cops: Woman Stuck Clothing, Shoes, Electronics In Suitcase At Marlboro Store, Worth More Than $1K
Clarice D. Bethel of Atlantic City was arrested Jan. 13 after shoplifting merchandise that's worth $1,331.04, police said.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested in Monmouth County this past week after hiding closing, shoes and electronics in a suitcase, police said.
Clarice D. Bethel of Atlantic City was arrested Jan. 13 after shoplifting merchandise that’s worth $1,331.04 from TJ Max in Marlboro, police said.
Bethel allegedly stored clothing, shoes and electronics in the case “with the intent to deprive the TJ Max of the possession, use, or benefit” of the merchandise,” police said.

She then attempted to exit the store, police said.
No bail information was available. Bethel is scheuled to appear in court on Jan. 20 at 9 a.m.
