Damaged Transformer Leads To Power Outages In Marlboro: See Details

Township officials are urging residents to report their outages to JCP&L while crews and police work to resolve the issue.

MARLBORO, NJ — A damaged transformer has led to power outages throughout Marlboro on Monday afternoon, the township said in an online post.

According to the JCP&L outage tracker, about 2,236 homes are currently without power throughout town.

An estimated restoration time of 4:30 p.m. on Monday is listed on the outage tracker page.

Crews and police are currently on scene, township officials said.

For those who have not reported their outage, officials are asking residents to do so directly to JCP&L to get updates on their home's estimated time of restoration.
