Kids and adults from across
New Jersey will don running shoes and dancing gear in Colts Neck on Sunday,
June 29, for the first Dance Dash on the East Coast.
This fun race will
raise funds for children affected by brain injury, spinal cord injury,
premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and life-changing illnesses at
Children’s Specialized Hospital, the local Children’s Miracle Network
Hospital.
The Dance Dash is a unique, high-energy event created
exclusively for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals that challenges
participants to walk or run a 5K course, making a few stops along the way to
show their moves.

Each kilometer, participants will pause to learn a
dance—maybe swing, maybe a country line dance, maybe a hip-hop routine—from local kids and adults.
At the end of the Dance Dash, participants and
community members will join together for a large flash-mob dance party.
