Driver Dies In Crash On Route 18 In Marlboro, Police Say
The crash occurred early Sunday at milepost 25.8, authorities said.
MARLBORO, NJ — One person has died following a crash early Sunday, authorities told Patch.
According to the NJ State Police Fatal Crash Statistics Database, the crash occurred at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday on Route 18 (Freeway) MP 25.8.
In an email sent to Patch, Marlboro Police Detective Lt. Jonathan Gramcko confirmed that a driver died as a result of the crash.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or how many vehicles were involved in the incident.
According to Gramcko, an investigation into the crash is active and ongoing.

"The investigation is still active, and therefore we are unable to provide any additional information at this time," he said.
Patch has reached out to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office for additional information.
