Edwin R. Veselis, 75, Dies
Howell Resident and Former Colts Neck Firefighter dies at 75-years old.

Edwin R. Veselis, 75, of Howell Township passed away Sunday, Nov.6 at his residence. Edwin was born in Neptune Township and had lived in Ocean Grove before moving to Howell Township 23 years ago. He was a purchasing agent for Concurrent Computer, Oceanport and also worked as a cable programmer for Cablevision in Monmouth County. Edwin was a former member of the Colts Neck Volunteer Fire Company and the Turkey Swamp Rod & Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila C. Veselis of Howell; two daughters, Cynthia Woolford and her husband, Forrest of Freehold and Theresa Givens of Red Bank; a stepson, Kenneth Cairns and his partner James Vecchione of Ocean Grove; a stepdaughter, Patricia Chris of Toms River; three grandchildren, Kristen, Heather and Julia; and a great granddaughter, AnnMarie.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11 a.m. funeral service at the Clayton Funeral Home home on Thursday, November 10, 2011.
