"Water for Elephants" is the touching story of Jacob Jankowski, a 93-year-old man, who is reminded of his colorful past when a circus sets up next door to his assisted-living center.
Readers are shown memories of Jacob as a young man, tossed by fate onto a rickety train that was home to the Benzini Brothers "Most Spectacular Show on Earth." This is a story of coming of age, facing the realities of death, and living despite it all. "Water for Elephants" is an adventure for readers of all ages.
Refreshments will be served and all are welcome to attend, however, registration is preferred. Stop by or call the library to reserve your copy of the book today.
