Drama Presentation: "Who Do You Say I Am"

Monmouth Worship Center in Marlboro continues its series of drama productions with a presentation of "Who Do You Say I Am."

The drama will open on April 1 at 6:30 p.m. Additional shows will be April 6 and April 7, at 7 p.m.

 Directed and written by Troy Davis of Jackson, the drama reveals Jesus as the Messiah through a series of Old Testament prophesies. Scenes of Old Testament prophecy narrated by Moses will be followed by the dramatization of the fulfillment of the prophecy in scenes from the New Testament.

The role of Jesus is played by Joe Maranzani of Marlboro. Judas, the one who betrayed Jesus into the hands of the Roman prosecutors is played by Denis McKeown, of Brick. Ursula Trojcak, of Monroe, plays the part of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Set design is by Elena Fernandez, of Atlantic Highlands and Meghan McCarthy of Manalapan is the assistant director.

 The drama will be performed at Monmouth Worship Center at 37 Vanderburg Road in Marlboro and is open to everyone. Free childcare for children 5 and under is available by reservation. Please call the church office at 732-332-9600 to confirm a spot for childcare.
