VoiceWorks’ Production Camp for 2012 concludes in a performance of “Seussical the Musical Jr” at the award-winning George Street Playhouse!
We’re at it again! In this fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza, Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination–Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.
George Street Playhouse, located in New Brunswick’s theater and restaurant district, is recognized as one of New Jersey’s most important performing venues. The Playhouse’s mainstage offers a 360-seat proscenium theater, with unobstructed views of the stage.
