Author Aimee Bender will join us via Skype from Los Angeles for a discussion of her book "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake," the story of  a girl whose magical gift is really a devastating curse. Bender's narrator, Rose Edelstein,  can literally taste the emotions of whoever prepares her food, giving her unwanted insight into other people's secret emotional lives-including her mother's, whose lemon cake betrays a deep dissatisfaction.
