COLTS NECK, NJ — Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations are set to take place at Naval Weapons Station Earle on Thursday.
From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., authorities said residents in surrounding areas may hear "loud noises" while operations take place.
Officials are reassuring residents that these sounds are “part of planned, controlled activities and there is no cause for alarm.”

Naval Weapons Station Earle is located at 201 NJ-34, Colts Neck.
