Fireside Grill and Bar Opens Its Doors in Marlboro

The revamped property is under new ownership and turned into a modern sports bar.

The new Fireside Grill and Bar opened its doors to the public on Aug. 29, offering a new sports bar dining venue to Marlboro.

The ribbon cutting ceremony brought friends and family of the owners as well as community leaders to welcome the new business to the township.

The restaurant, located on 133 South Main Street (Rt. 79), is employing 103 locals.

“That’s jobs in this economy as well, and that is as important as anything,” said Mayor Jon Hornik. 

Since its opening, local patrons have packed the parking lot and enjoyed the bars several televisions, signature drinks and bar menu.

“Not much commercially is being done, not only in Monmouth but in Jersey, with the recession we have,” said Hornik. “To have a facility like this open to service the community is unbelievable.”
