COLTS NECK, N.J.—Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this holiday weekend in Colts Neck:

July 4 festivities
What: Independence Day Celebration.
Where: Bucks Mill Recreation Area, 137 Bucks Mill Road, Colts Neck.
When: 6 p.m., July 3.
The Colts Neck Business Association will be hosting an annual Independence Day Celebration on July 3 in the Bucks Mill Recreation Area.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will be free to the public with plenty of food, drink, and snacks available.
Dino Nicoletta, the president of the CNBA, said the event is supported by the business association and no township funds are used.

Marlboro Township will not have fireworks for Independence Day, but will have a display July 10 at the Marlboro Recreation Center.
