MARLBORO, NJ-- Marlboro Mayor Jonathan Hornik announced on Tuesday that a Food Emporium will be coming to Marlboro. Residents can expect a Summer 2017 opening, Hornik said.
It'll be located at the old A&P building on the corner of Route 520 and Route 79, according to Hornik. The Food Emporium will be one of just two non-speciality supermarkets in the town (the other being ShopRite on Route 9). The two specialty grocery stores in town are Whole Foods and Asian Food Market.
Once owned by A&P, Food Emporium was bought by Key Foods in November of 2015.
