Free Flu Shots Monday For Monmouth County Residents
The flu has killed one child so far in NJ: A 4-year-old unvaccinated girl in Central Jersey. The state does not track adult flu deaths.

MARLBORO, NJ — The Monmouth County Health Department is providing FREE flu shots to Monmouth County residents aged 6 months – 17 years on Monday, February 5 from 4-6 p.m. Call 732-431-7456, option 2 for appointment.

FOR WHOM: Children 6 months thru 17 years old
Free to Monmouth County residents; $15 for non-residents.

As Patch reported last week, the flu has killed one child so far in New Jersey, the state health department said: A 4-year-old girl from Central New Jersey died of flu-related complications at the end of December. The child had not received a flu shot. The state would not disclose what town the child was from due to privacy reasons. The state of New Jersey does not keep track of adult deaths from the flu.
