Giovanni Caputo of Monmouth Worship Center Dies
Caputo was a member of the Monmouth Worship Center in Marlboro.

Giovanni “John” Caputo, 85, of Cream Ridge, passed away on Jan. 16 at home with his loving family. Born in New York, he lived in Flushing, NY before moving to Cream Ridge 12 years ago. He owned and operated Cabro Trucking in Jersey City before retiring. He was a member of the , Marlboro.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth; his five daughters and four sons-in-law, Sylvia Infante and Lenny Calvin, Anna Caputo, Giovanna and Tony Carro, Elsa and Anthony Fraccalvieri, Mary and Victor Davi, Ciro Spina; 11 grandchildren, Nicki and Lou D’Errico, Anthony John and Neha Carro, Deanna and Jon Sgalambro, Andrew and Julie Carro, John Carlo and Erin Spina, Desiree and Sofia Spina, Elisabeth and Dan Hafler, Victoria, Victor John and Gabriella Davi; five great grandchildren, Isabella, Julia, Anjali, Nathan and Anthony; and two brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends are invited to visit today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., with a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Vanella’s Funeral Chapel, 2860 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY 11572. Interment will be Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY.
