HVAC Manufacturing Site Plan Approved In Marlboro

MARLBORO, NJ - An application calling for the construction of a 63,161-square-foot warehouse complex at 156 Boundary Road was approved by the planning board during a Sept. 16 meeting, according to meeting documents. The facility, which will be operated by manufacturer SRS Enterprises, is slated to host the production of air conditioning (HVAC) systems.

The application was approved following a public hearing for the preliminary and final major site plan. The proposal includes the construction of the two-story 29,998-square-foot building for manufacturing use in phase 1 and a future 33,133 square-foot addition in phase 2, according to the meeting agenda.

SRS Enterprises touts installations across New York and New Jersey specializing in heating, ventilation and air conditioning, per its website.

The site of the proposed construction is a 10-acre lot on the west side of Boundary Road, according to CentralJersey.com. It was once the location of a private swim club.

According to the CentralJersey.com report, Robert Senia, a principal of SRS Enterprises, states that the warehouse will hire 35 employees (eight factory employees, 10 warehouse employees and 17 sales employees). Proposed site hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.
