International Polo Star Comes to Colts Neck

"The David Beckham of polo," Nacho Figueras, will play two charity matches in Colts Neck this summer at the International Polo Club of Colts Neck.

This Sunday, Fiqueras' match will benefit Operation Smile, an international medical charity which focuses on training medical professionals and donating medical equipment in places of need, as well as providing free surgeries.

Figueras an Argentine model for Polo Ralph Lauren, will also play a match on Sunday, Aug. 21 to benefit Work to Ride. The charity provides youth from Philadelphia an opportunity to be active through equine sports and education.

DJ Daniel Braver will provide entertainment, while crowds tailgate and participate in contests such as "Best Dressed Tailgate Attendees."

The International Polo Club of Colts Neck began in 2009 and is home to the SLS Jets, a family polo team made of Simon Garber and his three sons.

Doors for the July 31 match open at 4 pm and matches begin at 5 pm. 

VIP tents are $150. It costs $75 for a tailgate car. All proceeds go to the charity the match is raising money for that day.
