It's Time to Get Out of the House and Enjoy the Warmth of the Classical Guitar

Guitar virtuoso Anton Del Forno brings his acclaimed performance to the Downtown Concert Series this Saturday, February 22 at 7:30pm. Originally scheduled for last Saturday and postponed due to weather, we are ready to celebrate the warmer days with a concert that will resonate with the richness and passion for which Del Forno is well known. “What Caruso was to the voice, Del Forno is to the guitar,” describes Il Messaggero.

A remarkably versatile musician, Del Forno is tireless in his efforts to introduce listeners to his instrument's rich repertoire. Not only is Del Forno an enthusiastic and acclaimed performer of the classical and modern guitar, but he has enriched the guitar literature by his own compositions and transcriptions.

Tickets for the concerts are $25 and $10 for students 18 years and younger. Discounted tickets are available for groups of ten or more. Seating is limited and tickets should be purchased in advance. The concert will begin at 7:30 pm. A reception honoring the artist will be hosted by Investors Bank (21 West Main Street, Freehold) following the concert.
