Jackson Resident Reports Suspicious NJNG Worker
A customer in Jackson reported someone suspicious came to their door recently and claimed to be with the utilities company, NJNG says.

Jackson, NJ - A New Jersey Natural Gas customer in Jackson reported someone suspicious came to their door recently and claimed to be with the utilities company, an NJNG spokesman told Patch Tuesday.
“We received a report from a customer in Jackson questioning the legitimacy of someone who came to their door,” said Michael Kinney, a media spokesperson for New Jersey Natural Gas.
As a result, the company wants to remind all customers to always ask to see identification any time an NJNG, or an utility worker arrives at their home or business.

All NJNG employees carry photo identification, as do contractors working on behalf of our company, Kinney said.
