Maplewood Man Tried to Shoplift at Marlboro Kohl's, Police Said

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ - A 29-year-old Maplewood man was arrested Saturday at the Kohl's on Rt. 9 in Marlboro Township after police said he tried to shoplift from the store.

Andrew Modo, 29, was stopped by store security putting items down his pants and attempting to walk out of the store, police said. In total, Modo was charged with trying to shoplift $510 worth of merchandise.

He was released pending a court date.
