There's no word what caused a fire that leveled a home to its foundation in the Morganville section of Marlboro.
News 12 New Jersey reports the couple who owned the home were alerted by smoke detectors and escaped unharmed.
Firefighters had to stretch hoses nearly a mile to the nearest fire hydrant and used tanker trucks to supply water to fight the blaze. Information from: News 12, http://www.news12.com
