Marlboro, Freehold, Colts Neck Teens Commit To College Sports

Three teens from Marlboro, Freehold and Colts Neck committed at Saint John Vianney's NCAA Letter of Intent Signing Day.

HOLMDEL, NJ - One local teen from Freehold, one from Colts Neck and another from Marlboro committed to continuing their sport at the college level at Saint John Vianney High School's NCAA Letter of Intent Signing Day on Wednesday.

High school students Joseph Butler of Freehold and Alexis Lauricella of Marlboro both committed on Nov. 11 to their college of choice: Butler will be wrestling at The Citadel and Lauricella will be playing lacrosse at Harvard University. Colts Neck resident Katie Hill also committed to playing girls' basketball at the University of Richmond.

Saint John Vianney is a private Catholic high school located in Holmdel. Seven SJVHS student-athletes signed letters of intent in the school's gymnasium.
