Marlboro Gas Station Sells $452,448-Winning Lottery Ticket

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — Check your pockets! You won't believe the size of the jackpot sold at a highly frequented Marlboro Twp. gas station this week.

Three lucky tickets matched all five numbers drawn splitting the $1,357,344 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, Aug. 8 drawing, the NJ state lottery announced Thursday morning. Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Essex County: Barbara Grocery and Deli, 58 Barbara St., Newark;
• Monmouth County: Bray Ave Deli & Grocery, 190 Bray Ave., Middletown; and
• Monmouth County: South Main Fuel, 2 South Main St., Marlboro

Each ticket is worth $452,448. The winning numbers were: 06, 10, 16, 27 and 40 and the XTRA number was: 04.
