MARLBORO, NJ - All Marlboro Township residents ages 16 and older are now eligible to register for a vaccination appointment through the township’s partnership with CentraState.

In an emailed statement, Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik announced that Centrastate has already begun making calls to schedule appointments for those that completed the online form (see below

“This is not a waiting list, but to get scheduled for a vaccine appointment. To allow schedulers to reach as many people as quickly as possible, we ask that if you complete this form that you do not also schedule elsewhere,” Hornik said.

Residents who sign up are asked to keep their phones on them and answer calls from unknown numbers. If you do not get a scheduling call within 3 business days, and have not been scheduled, complete the form again as you may have missed the call.

“I am pleased to report that we are making good progress. As of last week, prior to age 16 being eligible, approximately 57% percent of Marlboro’s adult population had at least one vaccine dose,” Marlboro Mayor Jon Hornik said in a statement. “We hope that by making the vaccine registration as easy as possible will encourage more residents to get vaccinated.”

Vaccination eligibility was expanded to include all New Jersey residents age 16 and over on April 19. Both Pfizer and Moderna are available, although 16 and 17 years olds are only eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Marlboro residents must bring an insurance card and identification to appointments. Those who are not insured are still eligible to receive the vaccine at no cost.

Those who require transportation to a vaccine appointment may call the Monmouth County Division of Transportation at (732) 431-6480 and choose option 1 to schedule a ride.
