Marlboro Memorial Day Ceremony Is Monday

MARLBORO, N.J.—A Memorial Day ceremony and wreath-laying honoring fallen military will be take place at 10 a.m. on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, at the Veterans' Memorial, 1979 Township Drive.

Memorial Day honors the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military. It was originally known as Decoration Day and originated in the years following the Civil War, according to History.com. It became an official federal holiday in 1971.
