Marlboro must do better on inspections

If you ever filed for a permit to do work in your home or business in Marlboro you would be interested in this News Transcript Letter. Nobody should have to endure such extensive delays to get a job inspected.  The law states 72 hours for completion while routinely Marlboro can take up to 3 weeks.  That creates an unsafe environment, lengthy stoppage and puts contractors out of work and forces them to juggle multiple jobs.  We can pick our contractor but not our township.  The township is creating a hardship for homeowners and contractors.  If the municipality was a hired and paid consultant they would be FIRED.
