Marlboro: No Permit Needed For Overnight, Wkd. Parking At Lots
Breaking: Marlboro Twp is now allowing cars to be parked without a permit, free of charge, overnight and on weekends at the three Twp. lots.

MARLBORO, NJ — Marlboro Township is now allowing cars to be parked without a permit, free of charge, overnight and on weekends at the three Township commuter lots. Cars without a permit can be parked there between the hours of 6:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. and throughout the weekend, Mayor Jon Hornik announced.
The new rules took effect yesterday, Thursday, June 7.
"This ordinance ensures that those who purchase permits for commuting to work are ensured a place to park, while allowing access to the residents who travel to the city during off-peak times," said Mayor Hornik. “Additionally, rather than utilizing the pay-per-day lot at a daily fee, residents are now able to park their car free of charge at a lot closest to the bus stop for evening and weekend trips.”

Township parking permits are required at the three commuter lots from Monday to Friday between the hours of 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Prior to the change, Marlboro Twp. required a parking permit to park at all Township-permitted commuter lots at all times, even overnight and on weekends.
