MARLBORO, N.J.— Marlboro's parks are ready for residents to see all they have to offer at the "Marlboro Parks Rock" event this Saturday, May 21.

The day's formal events, which run from 10 a.m. to noon, will start at the Municipal Complex with the official opening of new exercise equipment there.

The Recreation Department meanwhile is encouraging residents to " spread kindness" through rock painting. Residents can bring rocks and the department will supply the paint. Residents then can place their artwork in the town's parks.

Marlboro has 15 parks throughout the township's 32 square miles, and the department is encouraging residents to use the parks on Saturday and all days. The parks offer opportunities to explore playgrounds, go bicycling and skating, picnic and practice yoga, the department says.

The events are free but registration is required.
