Marlboro Patrol Car Crashed On Jersey Shore: Police
A Marlboro police officer escaped serious injury after a car accident on Crine Road, according to the Marlboro Township Police Department.

MARLBORO, NJ — A member of the Marlboro Township Police Department was involved in a car accident on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
Sgt. Michael Tischler of the Marlboro Township Police Department and an unnamed Morganville 17-year-older were driving near the intersection of Crine Road and Pierson Drive when the collision occurred, said Capt. Steve Levy.
At approximately 3 p.m., Tischler alerted dispatchers over his car radio, stating that he was involved in a crash. The other vehicle involved was a 2021 Tesla. Sergeant Tischler suffered minor injuries as a result and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

The collision is currently being investigated by officers with the Marlboro Township Traffic and Safety Bureau.
