Marlboro Teen Participates in Honeywell's Space Camp
The students did a moon walk and built their own rockets at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

MARLBORO, NJ - A student from Marlboro Township was one of 320 teens from across the country and the world who attended the Honeywell Leadership Challenge Academy at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama in February.
The program was open to all students, ages 16-18, of current full-time Honeywell employees.
Imad Khaleel from Marlboro participated. Honeywell created the program to improve access to STEM education. At the space camp, the students participated in the same training simulations as NASA astronauts, including:

· Meeting NASA scientists, engineers and former astronauts
