Marlboro Twp. Man, United Mechanic Charged In Child Porn Net

Among the 14 arrested across Monmouth County in an alleged child porn crackdown was a 33-year-old Marlboro man, who works for United.

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — Among the 14 men arrested across Monmouth County in an alleged child pornography crackdown was a 33-year-old Marlboro Twp. man, who works as a mechanic for United Airlines at Newark airport.

Monmouth County Prosecutor Chris Gramiccioni announced all 14 arrests Wednesday, Nov. 28. Men from all over Monmouth County were arrested, among them a former member of the Environmental Commission in Atlantic Highlands; a teen from Holmdel; a Freehold man who works at Princeton University; a Howell man who works as VP of Operations for ING Financial Markets and an Eatontown man who works at Love Inc., a religious non-profit company.

Fady Elghazaly, 33, of Ravenswood Road in Marlboro, a mechanic with United Airlines, was arrested on September 26, 2018 following an investigation that revealed he allegedly used Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file-sharing software to make child pornography images and videos available to others online. Elghazaly is charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree (via distribution of child pornography) and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child (alleged possession of child pornography). Elghazaly is represented by Mitchell Ansell, Esq.

The Holmdel teenager, who will not be identified because he is a juvenile, was arrested on July 25 of this year. Detectives with the county prosecutor's office say he used Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file-sharing software to make child pornography images and videos available to others online.

Coincidentally, the juvenile is represented by Robert A. Honecker, the same defense attorney representing Paul Caneiro, the Ocean Twp. man accused of setting fire to his home with his wife and daughters inside on Nov. 20, and the man who is brother to Keith Caneiro, murdered in his Colts Neck home. Honecker used to be an assistant Monmouth County prosecutor before moving into private criminal defense.
