Marlboro Vehicle Crash Damaged JCP&L Telephone Pole: Cops
A single-vehicle collision on Greenwood Road closed the road for hours as crews repaired a damaged telephone pole, authorities said.
MARLBORO, NJ - A single-vehicle collision on Greenwood Road in Marlboro on Wednesday caused the road to close for several hours until early Thursday as crews repaired a telephone pole damaged in the crash, authorities said.
At around 6 p.m. on July 14, a black Volkswagen driven by a 25-year-old female from Lakewood went off the road, struck and cracked a telephone pole on Greenwood Road, Capt. Steve Levy of the Marlboro Township Police Department told Patch.
Greenwood Road was shut between Texas Road and Ticetown Road from 6 p.m. until about 3 a.m. on Thursday while JCP&L repaired the damaged telephone pole.

There were no reports of any power outages, Levy said.
The driver was not injured in the crash but was checked out by members of the Morganville First Aid Squad because the airbag was deployed.
