Marlboro Verizon Wireless Giving Away 200 Backpacks July 23
School just got out for summer, but your local Marlboro Verizon Wireless store is already thinking about September.

MARLBORO, NJ — School just got out for summer, but your local Marlboro Verizon Wireless store is already thinking about September. On Sunday, July 23 the Marlboro Wireless Zone on Rt. 9 will be giving away 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to local Marlboro Township families.
Between 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on July 23, the local Wireless Zone invites Marlboro families to stop by and pick up a backpack filled with various school supplies, including pencils, paper, a pencil box, folders and glue. One backpack per child present will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The participating Wireless Zone store in Marlboro is located at 87 Rt. 9 South, at the intersection of Newman Springs Road. The franchise is owned by Chris Severo and Jonah Engler.

Wireless Zone, the nation’s largest wireless retail franchise offering exclusive Verizon products and services, is partnering with The Cellular Connection (TCC) and Culture of Good to donate backpacks full of school supplies to children in need through the brand’s fifth annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway. The average K-12 student spends $97.74 on school supplies such as notebooks, pencils and backpacks each year.
"Wireless Zone is extremely proud to be part of such an amazing movement, and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with TCC on an initiative like the backpack giveaway," said Wireless Zone Executive Vice President, Dave Staszewski.
