Mercedes SUV Stolen From Colts Neck Driveway
Middletown, Holmdel, Colts Neck and Manalapan continue to be targeted by car thieves. This most recent incident happened Friday night.

COLTS NECK, NJ — The Colts Neck Police Department is currently investigating the theft of a 2018 Mercedes GLE350 that took place overnight Friday into Saturday, Nov. 4.
A homeowner on Berkley Place in Colts Neck reported the theft of the SUV from their driveway sometime overnight Friday. The vehicle was unlocked and the key fob left inside vehicle, police said. GPS locator had the vehicle tracked to Newark early Saturday morning.
Monmouth County continues to be hit by car thieves: 12 luxury cars have been stolen in Holmdel so far this year and a 2017 Ford Escape was stolen out of a driveway on Timber Lane in Manalapan on Oct. 28. In all the incidents, the cars were left unlocked with the key fobs inside. Car thieves target luxury SUVs for their high resale value, police say.
