Monmouth County Parks Offers Hula Lessons In Colts Neck

Come learn 'Hula: Sacred Dance of Hawaii' from 6-7 p.m. on Mondays, October 28-December 2 at the Dorbrook Recreation Area Activity Center.

COLTS NECK, NJ — The Monmouth County Park System is hosting "Hula: Sacred Dance of Hawaii" from 6-7 p.m. on Mondays, October 28-December 2 at the Dorbrook Recreation Area Activity Center in Colts Neck.

Monmouth County residents are invited to discover the beautiful ancient art of the hula during this class taught by a native Hawaiian instructor. Participants will practice the various steps and arm movements of the dance and learn about the cultural and spiritual significance of each. The cost is $80 per person; pre-registration required.
