Daniel A. "Danny" Gritzek, 25, of Morganville, died Friday, May 4, at home. Born in Red Bank, he lived in Aberdeen before moving to Morganville. He was employed by Capital Paints, Colts Neck. Danny enjoyed quality time with his family. He also enjoyed the beach, swimming and traveling. He was a caring and genuine person with a big heart. A beloved son, brother and friend, his smile and laughter would always light up a room.
Daniel is predeceased by his grandparents, John and Mary Ellen Gritzek. He is survived by his mother, Lisa Gritzek of Aberdeen; his step-father, Jeff Conte of Morganville; a brother, Jon Conte of Morganville; his Uncle and Aunt Keith and Diane Gritzek of Chicago; his Aunt Kim Gritzek of Aberdeen; and cousins, Lara, Robert, and Dayna.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, May 9 at 8 p.m. at The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals," 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.
