Obituary: Lewis Wright Jr., Longtime Marlboro Public Works Supervisor

Wright was the Road Department Supervisor for Marlboro Township for 20 years.

Lewis J. Wright Jr., 51, of Freehold Township, died on Saturday, Sept. 8 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Staten Island, NY he was raised in Cliffwood Beach before moving to Freehold 18 years ago. Mr. Wright was the Road Department Supervisor for Marlboro Township for 20 years and the owner of Kreative Koatings LLC in Freehold.

He was predeceased by his brother Frank Wright in 1996. Lewis is survived by his loving wife, the former Danielle Acampora; his daughter Maura and his son, Lewis J. III both at home; his parents, Lewis J. of Cliffwood and Theresa of Barnegat; and his two sisters and brother-in-law, Theresa Wright of Woodbridge and Diana "Dee" Latorraca her husband Carlo and godson Anthony of Toms River. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, Sept. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, at , Rt. 79, Marlboro. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
