1. Don't ever wear black eyeliner.

This totally depends on what kind of eyeliner you are wearing and where you are placing it. If you do a soft and smoky black line in the right place for your eye shape, then yes, you can wear a black liner.

2. Don't wear highlighter.

Don't choose a glittery highlighter. Use a soft sheer highlight, not a glitter. Everyone looks great with a little glow in the right place. Avoid placing it on very textured (lined skin)

3. Don't wear shimmer eye shadow.

A shadow with a little sheen gives the eyes a nice pop. It all depends on your eyes. I would keep shimmer on the lid and use a matte in the crease.

4. Avoid bright blush
Women look better in color. If your skin has a lot of redness in it, even it out with a color correcting primer and foundation first.

5. Don't use lip-liner.

As women mature their lips thin and lose their definition. You can use a nude lip-liner or match it to your lipstick perfectly. You can also do it after your lipstick is applied for a softer look and still give you great definition!
